Frankie & The Heartstrings play free gig in Belfast

This tuesday I’ll be heading over to my favourite gig venue in the whole of Belfast, The Black Box, to watch lovely lads and pneumatically-powered Indie thrillsters Frankie & The Heartstrings play a FREE GIG (THAT’S RIGHT. A FLIPPIN’ FREE GIG!) as part of Topman CTRL. Topman are hosting loads of regional gigs all over the country – they’re programmed by O High Bearded God of Music Huw Stephens, and are FREE if you’re an impoverished student-type. Any Belfasties would do wisely to head down to The Black Box on Tuesday 1st March, at around 9pm, to join in the festivities. But fear not, non Northern Ireland-types – there’ll be gigs held all around the country, in places like Glasgow, Sheffield, Bristol and Birmingham. What larks. Here’s the full line-up:
